Linda “Pearl” Fils-Aime, the founder of A Lady Named Pearl's Leadership & Modeling Academy is an expert in teaching transformation, both in the world of modeling and in the world of next-generation leadership preparedness.

The modeling industry is often narrow-casted as just about physical appearance and presenting only the façade of the person. However, Linda Pearl Fils-Aime has discovered a new way to upend the old modeling industry to become a tool to help shape future global leaders of all sizes, gender, perspectives, and mindsets.

Pearl is a seasoned fashion model, performing artist, author, speaker, and university professor. Pearl began her professional career as a model walking the runways for Ebony Fashion Fair, touring the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean.

Shortly after touring with Ebony Fashion Fair, Pearl pursued her MBA at Clark Atlanta University. Pearl served as a real estate analyst for a Fortune 1 company from 2008 to 2011, and as an adjunct business school professor at Clark Atlanta University, teaching Leadership and Professional Development from August 2011 to the present day.

"Growing up in Jacksonville, Florida my grandmother was a well-known fashionista and seamstress who made clothes for quite a few socialites. She inspired me to open up a boutique. I inherited her love for fashion and styling and as a child I dreamed of opening a boutique one day. Although, I did not become a seamstress I did learn how to select very fashionable clothing for my boutique from various wholesale designers that I felt people would love. My grandmother would always admire what the socialites were wearing by saying “that’s a speaking piece.” Therefore, I decided that would be the name of my boutique, Speaking Pieces Boutique."

Young entrepreneurs Treandos & Noah Thornton recently raised awareness and monetary funds during the COVID-19 Pandemic for the homeless population. The 2 siblings were encouraging their customers, family and friends to help others in need. Their fundraising efforts benefited the Atlanta Mission, which is a non-profit organization that provides emergency shelter, rehab and recovery services, vocational training and transitional housing. Atlanta Mission serves more than 1,000 homeless men, women and children daily.

I had the honor of attending one of their block parties, they grilled, had a dj and guess who came through and hung out with us, 2 Chainz. The energy was great, food was good, just a day of fun, entertainment and laughter!

For those  who may be wondering, 2 Chainz was right there every minute vibing with us, no security keeping us from engaging, it was a relaxed, positive, dope cookout! I also went for the cd signing of Mindless Behavior, around the time they came out, and had the opportunity of interviewing them (footage on my YouTube Channel). I was rocking with DBS Sounds when they had a meet and Greet with Sevyn Streeter (Footage on my channel).

So as you can see they bring out the hottest! Unfortunately I’ve missed so many other great artist at the record store like; 112, Syleena Johnson, Chante Moore, Sammie, Big Boi from outkast and sooooo many more greats.
