It stands true that The City of Stockbridge is for the people by the people! In the year 2020 Stockbridge celebrated 100 years of cityhood and this past Saturday, September 25, 2021, the city held their amphitheater grand opening ceremony, making history as the first amphitheater in Henry County, Georgia. Providing a "live, work, play" lifestyle the amphitheater gave citizens high hopes and expectations and the city delivered with award-winning musical legends Gladys Knight & Patti LaBelle headlining the grand opening concert.Â
The ribbon cutting set the tone for the nights's anticipated excitement.
