The outpour of love from everyone that gathered at the Eagles Landing Country Club for Councilman Elton Alexander's 7th Annual Women's History Month Award Ceremony was a beautiful sight to see. This event was extraordinary, honoring over a dozen women of different ethnicities and from various occupational backgrounds. Although this was a night focused on women, Dr. Yusef Salaam, one of the exonerated five attended as the Father of love Honoree. With beautiful selections by singer Lydia Middleton, several amazing performances by celebrity saxophonist Richard Shaw Jr., a captivating dance performance by the Eagles Landing Dance Center, "two hands up" snap finger worthy poetry by poet laureate Hank Stewart and a vibrant night full of rocking, two-stepping, and loud singing thanks to Dj Kandy
